This policy explains what information is collected when you use this website, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to this site only and not to any external site we link to.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run contact forms that store submissions. The dates, species and breeds you enter into the calculators are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us or saved on a server. If you email us, we hold that email and your address only for as long as needed to answer you.

Like almost all websites, our hosting provider records standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, requested URL and timestamp. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them in three ways. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and remember that you have dismissed the cookie banner. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful in aggregate. Advertising cookies are set by third parties to select and measure ads.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

Server logs are retained for a short period and then discarded. Email correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful. We use HTTPS across the whole site, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or its advertising partners change. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
